Out of School Care Philosophy

If you are looking for a warm, safe, nurturing, environment - a place where you your child is encouraged to learn through play and develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, cognitively, and emotionally? Millwoods Christian School Society Out of School Care is able to provide you such a place. Recognized by the Alberta Government as an accredited center we have stellarfacilities with emergent programming. The staff are educated Early Childhood Professionals who genuinely care about families and the dynamics of families in today’s society. We provide a breakfast snack and afternoon snack in keeping with Canada’s Food Guide. We operate in conjunction with Millwoods Christian School and are open on Professional Development days and through Spring Break. We are closed between Christmas and New Years. We also close two days at the end of a school year and two days before the beginning of a new school year. We run both a morning and afternoon kindergarten program with teaching based on a Christian Curriculum.

We have a jam-packed summer program available to ensure that each child’s summers is FUN! During the summer we have two field trips per week and the costs of these field trips are included in the fees.
Our vision and heart is to demonstrate Christ like behavior and love towards the parents and children in our center; to see lives changed for His Glory. We desire to foster and create a Christ-like relationship with the parents and children in an enriching environment. Ultimately our goal is to encourage your child to grow and develop to his or her full potential in a fun and safe way.

 

Hours of Operation
School Year: September to June
Monday thru Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

Summer Program: July to August
Monday thru Friday: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Fees
Registration Deposit (non-refundable): $50
Full Time Grades 1-6: $525 per month /per child
Full Time Kindergarten: $675 per month /per child
Half Day Kindergarten: $475 per month / per child
After school only: $425 per month / per child
Mornings only: $230 per month / per child

Drop in Fees
Morning Drop in: $30 per day
Afternoon Drop in: $50 per day
Full Day Drop in: $70 per day
Weekly Drop in (Mon-Fri): $300 per week

Summer Program
July: $675 per child / per month
Weekly (Mon-Fri) $300 per child / per week
August: $675 per child / per month
Weekly (Mon-Fri) $300 per child / per week
10% Discount rates available for second and/or third child
